The Secondary Education course from the Qatar University has eight concentrations all of which are benchmarked to Qatar National Professional Standards for Teachers and School Leaders.

Vision

The Bachelor of Education degree in Secondary Education is designed to meet national professional standards and international teacher accreditation standards in order to prepare the highest quality secondary school teachers (G 7-12) for the State of Qatar. Graduates from this program will be equipped with both the content and the pedagogical knowledge and skills necessary to implement the college’s conceptual framework by shaping future generations of secondary school students.

High Schools: minimum 70% average for public school graduates.

All students must enroll in the program full time.

Male & female students can enroll in this program.

Math, Chemistry. Biology, Physics Students are required to pass the foundation program.

For the English / ESL concentration students, TOEFL IBT score of ≥ 61 or IELTS ≥ 5.5 is required.
