Sport Rehabilitation degree offered at University of Salford will help you learn to improve the health and function in people with injury, illness and disease, and to positively contribute to improving public health.

You'll study musculoskeletal injuries, therapeutic techniques and exercise rehabilitation skills, supported by a foundation in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and psychology. You'll learn to provide effective care for people with injuries, illness and disease in order to improve their health and function, either autonomously or as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

You'll learn how to help injured people get back to full sporting activity by applying cutting-edge rehabilitation techniques in a lively and supportive environment. Throughout the course, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills in real-life situations.

Employment

This course opens up a wide range of career opportunities in the management of musculoskeletal injuries in venues such as professional sports clubs, clinics, private hospitals and the NHS. Some graduates choose to go on to further study or research while others have used their degree as a stepping stone to joining the armed forces or emergency services.
