Graphic design is everywhere, from your favourite apps to your favourite breakfast cereal. In this course, you’ll learn design strategy and practical skills for a range of print and digital media contexts, to help you build a career you love in this dynamic and rapidly changing global industry.

This Graphic Design BCrMedia course offered at Murdoch University has a large focus on industry. You’ll learn to master industry-specific software, critical design thinking, visual problem solving and authentic production techniques through a range of industry projects. You’ll work on real client projects to build a portfolio of digital, print and communication designs, which you can use to show your work to your future employers.

You will also build career skills, such as working to a creative brief, developing a professional approach to client liaison and managing graphic design projects.

International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma: Total score of 33 points or higher

French Baccalaureate: Grade average of 14 or higher

GCE A Levels: Minimum of 12 points taken from the best 2 or 3 subjects where A*=6, A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1 (AS Levels are equivalent to half points e.g. A=2.5, B=2 etc.) or higher

Other ways to qualify for entry - Successful completion of one of the following:

Murdoch University Pre-Law Alternative Entry Course (final grade of 60% or more). Note this course is not available to students on a Student Visa.

Successful study at AQF level 7 (or equivalent) achieving either one semester with a minimum 70% GPA; or two semesters with a minimum 67% GPA. Applicants via this pathway may be requested to attend an interview.

Successful attendance and completion of LAW START, an ability and aptitude Evaluation Pathway. Note this course is not available to students on a Student Visa.
