About the Programme

The first two years of the Networking Technologies program at New Bulgarian University covers general education courses; lecture courses: Programming (C ++), Computer Systems, Object Oriented Programming (C ++), Introduction to Networks, Data Structures, Operating Systems, Local and Global networks, Databases and SQL, etc.; extracurricular forms of training: Project on Programming, Databases, Algorithms in Graphs, independent course works. During the third and fourth year education is organized in specialized courses in the program and extracurricular forms of training, including practices and internships. From the third year the program offers two modules that lead to professional qualifications. Students will be able to specialise in Network administration or Network programming.

Occupation and Possible Positions

Graduates of the program are: specialist in information and communication technologies; system administrators, network administrators, specialists in computer networks, software developers, project and database administrators, application programmers.

General requirements

Application form ;

Original or notarized copy of completed secondary education diploma and diploma supplement specifying the period of attendance and the grades;

Certificate for recognized secondary education issued by the Regional Management of Education. The certificate contains the grades in the different subjects recalculated according to the Bulgarian grading system. For the purpose, applicants should submit their original high school diploma and supplement the one of the offices of RME.

A copy of the first page of your passport or other identification documents with your names in Latin letters;

Two recent passport-size photos;

Copies of all your language certificates. Applicants to programs taught in English whose native language is not English must present proof of English language proficiency.
