About

The Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) offered at the University of Queensland  is a one-year program that will teach you how to undertake research relevant to business or finance. Entry is competitive and is based on your undergraduate grade point average.Choose a thesis topic that best aligns with your undergraduate studies and your interests and goals. You'll complete a thesis under the supervision of an academic member of the UQ Business School.

Complete a compulsory course on research methods that will develop the skills you need to successfully design and conduct research projects. You'll also study a range of electives that will advance your existing knowledge and skills. Push the boundaries and develop high-level skills in critical and analytical thinking, communication, problem-solving and project management. Your honours year will open doors to a career in research or consultancy, within industry or academia.
