Overview

From business fundamentals, strategic analysis and business analytics to digital marketing, you will gain a complete understanding of the fashion industry from a business perspective.

This BA (Hons) Fashion Business and Management from Manchester Metropolitan University, accredited by the Chartered Management Institute, provides a fresh approach to developing future fashion business and marketing professionals.

By focusing on creative thinking and commercial insight, this degree will develop your potential to become a fashion manager, capable of making clear and appropriate management decisions within an international context.

We also offer a four-year sandwich route option that provides the opportunity to spend your third year on an industry placement to enhance your employability. You will also have the chance to take part in international educational exchanges and optional study trips.

There is an increased need in the industry for graduates with business, innovation and corporate entrepreneurial skills to enter management positions - this degree will equip you with those skills. The optional placement year will allow you to gain valuable experience to kick start you career.

The broad fashion business knowledge acquired and real business learning will allow you to visualise businesses as holistic entities and respond appropriately. This provides you with the opportunity to consider employment opportunities in a wide variety of sectors in the industry, from independent design houses to high-end chains.
