Our BA in Drama, Theatre and Performance prepares you not only for a career in theatre but also in other cultural industries such as film, television, broadcasting, heritage, tourism as well as teaching, journalism, and academia.

We have tailored modules in final year of the degree on professional development and producing that teaches our students how to go about attracting funding for their own projects and how to develop competitive CVs and portfolios to gain employment.
We have a pathway of modules designed for students who wish to take the MA in Education to teach the new leaving certificate subject Drama, Film and Theatre at second level.

- Minimum Grade H5 in two subjects and passes in four other subjects at O6/H7 level in the Leaving Certificate, including Irish, English, another language, and three other subjects recognised for entry purposes. No audition or portfolio required as part of the admissions process.
