Overview
Applied Mathematics/Data Science at Inholland University of Applied Sciences is a 4-year bachelor programme that develops and trains your skills in mathematics and programming and teaches you to apply them to real-world situations as early as Year 1.
Key Facts
Structured to provide you with as many opportunities as possible, by the end of Year 2 you will be well-rounded enough to confidently pursue any specialisation that takes your fancy.
Applied Mathematics/Data Science combines theory with practice and operates on the borders of IT and mathematics. Discover more about the Applied Mathematics/Data Science courses, minors, internships and the programme structure below.
Applied Mathematics / Data Science offers you an international and interactive environment full of like-minded individuals from all over the world. Meaning: you will work often as a team and pick up new perspectives from different cultures, flavours and ways of thinking. It can be scary to start on a new adventure alone, so we made certain no one has to be. You will present ideas and do projects together, learn directly from field professionals, and get a lot of personal attention as well as personal space. You’ll also receive plenty of chances to come up with and realise your own creative ideas.
One of the most important reasons why mathematical engineers can have their pick of career opportunities - with 'data scientist' proudly topping the job charts - is because they graduate with a broadly combinable set of marketable and specialised technical skills. We take their future, and the responsibility that comes with the power to create change, very seriously - and we are proud of everyone that has earned their degree here.
