Overview
Marine Science (Hons) from The Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS) benefits from a world class scientific research centre and Scotland's premier independent marine research organisation. We have taught an undergraduate degree programme for over a decade.
This four-year course is Scotland's only multidisciplinary course in marine science, integrating the studies of marine biology, physical and chemical oceanography and marine geology and leading to a rounded understanding of the marine system. Students also gain a diverse range of numerical, technical, analytical, field sampling, time management and communication skills which make them highly employable.
