You will master management tools typical of companies with a significant international dimension and operating in different and increasingly integrated economic systems.

Content is tailored to give you a strong preparation in the field of international economics and business and a distinctive international perspective.

You will learn to understand and analyze the dynamics of globalization of cultures and operations and the relationships among countries at the European and extra-European levels.

Through a comparative approach, you will study how cultural differences can influence these dynamics, and how institutions, firms and the financial system as a whole operate in the global context.

Program Structure

The program structure starts with a similar curriculum basis as many of the other Bachelor of Science programs, thereby giving you a rigorous training in the key subjects, though always aiming for an international perspective. While attending core courses, students study public and private organizations working at a global level, the main business functions (marketing, organization, technologies, finance, etc.) and strategic business management in an international context.

The last part of the program is made up of 2 elective courses (one of which may be substituted with an internship) and the final report.

During their last year, students may study at leading universities abroad and/or take part in internships in Italy or abroad, thus broadening their knowledge through courses and activities which are not included as part of the standard curricular subjects.

English Language Requirements

You only need to take one of these language tests:

  • Minimum required score: 6

    The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00. Academic Requirements

Each year, Bocconi University establishes the number of students who may be admitted to its programs, to ensure the best welcome, promote success during the study program and facilitate graduates’ entrance into the labour market.

Category of applicants

The categories of applicants vary based on the secondary school attended: Italian applicants, international applicants, talent students, applicants transferring from another University.

Elements of evaluation

Profiles will be evaluated based on the following elements:

  • performance on aptitude test; either the SAT, ACT or Bocconi Test
  • school transcripts;
  • language and/or IT certificates (if available);
  • activities summary and personal statement.

Completing the Admission Application

Admitted applicants will receive an offer that depends on meeting several curricular requirements:

  • completion of a secondary school diploma by July 2016 valid for the purposes of enrollment in a first-level degree program;
  • meeting the language requirement which varies depending on the language of the degree program of enrollment: degree programs taught in English (by June 2016)

In order to confirm the offer, admitted students must complete enrollment by the specified deadline.

The Admissions Committee of applicants' admission results by considering each applicant’s personal background and choices expressed, assessing the complete profile and considering the spots places available for in the application session.

Within the timelines defined for the various application sessions, applicants may view the results by accessing the “My Application” with their login information.

The language requirements vary from Home University to Home University: TOEFL iBt 76-100, IELTS 6-7 .

Università Bocconi has a detailed system of tuition and fees, financial assistance and exemptions, aimed at providing all students the necessary financial means to complete their studies.

Therefore, in order to ensure a fair tuition system, for the three-year Bachelor programs in Economics and the five-year degree program in Law, Università Bocconi foresees a yearly tuition fees which amounts to approximately € 11,000 which is equal to the 4th income bracket, and 3 reduced income brackets, adjusted to the economic and patrimony conditions of the student's original and de facto family.

To facilitate student applications and to allow families to evaluate the actual financial commitment needed to attend Bocconi before enrollment, the admissions application and financial aid applications have the same deadlines and timeframes and must be submitted together. The outcome of financial aid will be made available shortly after the admission’s results and prior do the deadline to enroll in Bocconi.
