Overview
Earn two Bachelor’s degrees in four years by combining International Business Administration and Economics in one integrated program. Build expertise in strategic management, cross-cultural communication, data analysis, econometrics, and economic modelling. Learn to analyze market trends and policy decisions, interpret data at both micro- and macro-levels, and translate economic insights into effective business strategies in an international context. What makes this program unique is that it combines economics and international business from the first semester through to the thesis.
- In the first year, you build a strong foundation in both economics and business. You deepen your understanding of microeconomics and macroeconomics, while taking business-related courses in areas such as marketing and human resources. At the same time, you develop your analytical skills through training in statistics and programming.
- In the second year, you further develop your analytical and strategic skills. You deepen your quantitative knowledge in economics while expanding your understanding of finance, strategy, and marketing. At the same time, you explore the impact of technology, data, ethics, and global developments on business and society.
- In the third year, you broaden your global and societal perspective. You study international trade, economic growth, and business cycles, while deepening your knowledge of corporate finance, governance, and supply chain management. At the same time, you strengthen your research and data communication skills and explore sustainability, leadership, and development in an international context.
- In the fourth year, you can specialize in one of the core subjects by choosing electives. You can also choose to follow a semester abroad and follow electives there. Or you can choose to gain business experience by doing an internship. You complete your Bachelor's degree by writing your thesis in a discipline of your choice, which allows you to delve deeper into the course content that you have learned earlier and which appeals most to your area of interest.
