Overview

The Economics from VinUniversity graduates will gain comprehensive knowledge, decision-making abilities, and policy analysis skills, enabling them to work in various sectors, including business, research, education, and government. They will also be prepared for further studies in Master’s and Doctoral programs domestically and internationally.

The overall objective of the Bachelor of Arts in Economics program is to train experts for businesses and organizations by equipping students with critical thinking, creativity, and analytical skills with the foundation of economic theory and tools. After completing the program, students are expected to gain comprehensive knowledge and thinking capacity, decision-making skills, grasp of market rules, and policy analysis to be able to work flexibly in suitable positions in economic, business, research, educational, governmental, and non-governmental organizations. In addition to the above, students are also expected to be able to pursue professional development in Master’s and Doctoral programs in the same or other related fields at domestic and foreign universities.

Applicants may be exempt from submitting English proficiency test scores if they meet all of the following conditions:

Have studied or graduated from a full-time international program (e.g., A-Level, IB).
This does not include bilingual programs or cases where only individual A-Level certificates are taken. Have studied in English for at least two consecutive years.

If verification is required, VinUniversity will request official confirmation from the high school principal or an authorized representative of the institution where the applicant has studied/is studying.
