The Philosophy, Politics, and Economics course at American University of Beirut - Mediterraneo combines three disciplines essential for understanding society. Students develop critical thinking through ethical reasoning, political systems, and economic principles, within an American liberal arts framework that encourages breadth across disciplines. Located in Pafos, Cyprus — an EU member state — students earn a CYQAA-accredited degree from AUB Mediterraneo. The compulsory Beirut Residency adds an immersive cross-cultural dimension unique to this programme.

This four-year BA is offered by AUB Mediterraneo, the Cyprus twin campus of the American University of Beirut. The programme follows an American liberal arts approach, combining structured core courses with electives that allow students to shape their academic pathway over time. Students graduate with a CYQAA-accredited degree from AUB Mediterraneo, with a strong interdisciplinary foundation for careers or further study in policy, law, economics, international affairs, public service, research, or related fields. Merit scholarships and need-based financial aid may be available.
