After successful completion of the Science and Engineering Degrees with a Foundation Year (Biology and Chemistry route) course at Manchester Metropolitan University, you can progress on to one of the relevant BSc (Hons) degrees:

After successful completion of the foundation year in biology and chemistry, you can progress on to the relevant BSc (Hons) degree.
We give our graduates the specialist skills to go into a variety of careers. For our biological sciences graduates, these range from the biological, pharmaceutical and agrochemical industries, to medical, public health, microbiology and environmental services, as well as in zoos, nature reserves, wildlife and habitat conservation projects, and teaching. Our chemistry graduates are also employed in a wide range of industries, from pharmaceutical, utilities and food and drink, to healthcare, aerospace and telecoms.

- 72-80 UCAS tariff points.
- A levels – grades DDD or equivalent
- Pearson BTEC National Extended Diploma – MMP
- OCR Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma - MMP
- Pearson BTEC National Diploma - DM
- Pass Access to HE Diploma in a relevant subject with a minimum of 74 UCAS Tariff points
- T Levels - We welcome applications from students undertaking T Level qualifications. Eligible applicants will be asked to achieve a minimum overall grade of Pass as a condition of offer.
- IB Diploma - Pass overall with a minimum overall score of 24 or minimum 72 UCAS Tariff points from three Higher Level subjects.
