Overview
The Bachelor’s Program in Computer Science prepares students for successful careers inthe rapidly evolving technology industry through a strong combination of theoreticalknowledge and practical skills. Delivered entirely in English, the program covers softwaredevelopment, algorithms, networking, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence, whileoffering elective courses for specialization. Students benefit from industry partnershipswith leading Georgian and international organizations, gaining access to internships andcareer opportunities. Accreditation
The Bachelor’s Program in Computer Science at Caucasus University is nationallyaccredited by Georgia’s National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE)and is developed in accordance with modern international academic and industrystandards.
Programme Structure
The program comprehensively covers computer technology, data structures and algorithms, computer hardware, operating systems, computer networks, database systems, software development and cyber security.
The Bachelor’s Degree Program in Computer Science comprises 240 credits. Consequently, the standard official duration of the Bachelor’s Degree Program is four years, but maximum six years.
After expiration of the standard duration of the Bachelor’s Degree Academic Program, the students having academic debts, with the view of completing the program, are allowed to continue education through additional semesters by retaining the student’s status.
The program is envisaging:
- Mandatory learning courses -134 ECTS credits;
- Optional learning courses - 48 ECTS credits;
- Mandatory learning courses of university - 20 ECTS credits;
- Optional learning courses of university - 20 ECTS credits;
- Free credits - 18 ECTS credits.
