Speech and Language Pathology from The University of Lahore provides graduates with the skills to assess, diagnose, manage, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing challenges across all age groups. Students gain expertise in handling disorders caused by neurological conditions, hearing impairments, developmental delays, cerebral palsy, autism, cleft palate, brain injuries, and more.

The programme offers hands-on learning in advanced Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy Labs, along with UOL’s Center for Healthcare Simulation and Innovation (CHSI), where students refine their skills in realistic clinical scenarios. Practical training is conducted in leading healthcare institutions, including the University of Lahore Teaching Hospital (ULTH), Sehat Medical Complex (Multan Road and Lake City), Mayo Hospital, Social Security Hospital, Falah Foundation, Gulab Devi Hospital, and Mansoora Hospital. This exposure equips students to confidently address real-world challenges.The curriculum integrates foundational courses like anatomy, physiology, and speech and language development with specialised subjects such as adult neurogenic communication disorders, fluency and fluency disorders, and voice disorders. Students complete their degree with a final-year research project, enabling them to contribute to advancements in speech and language pathology.
