Microbial Taxonomy, Microbial Pathogenesis and Mechanisms, Microbial Genetics, and Clinical Bacteriology are among the core courses that provide a strong base, while advanced modules like Microbial Cancer Mechanisms and Therapeutics, Clinical Virology, Medical Microbiology, Clinical Mycology, Chemical Pathology, Probiotics and Prebiotics, and Clinical Parasitology expand specialised knowledge. Practical training is reinforced through Clinical Skills in Microbiology, Histopathology, Biochemistry, and Haematology that focus on laboratory techniques and diagnostic methodologies.

The programme requires a mandatory internship and a research project in the last semester. Our labs, especially the Microbial Biotechnology Lab, Microbiology Lab, and the Centre for Research in Molecular Medicine (CRiMM), support your research while the Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) ensures the curriculum remains aligned with industry needs. Collaborations with leading institutions like INMOL, Dr Masood Homoeopathic Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd, Ottoman Pharma, and other key partners provide you with real-world experience in clinical microbiology, research, and beyond.
