They are trained to monitor blood chemistry, administer medications, and handle emergencies, supporting procedures like bypass surgery and ECMO for severe cardiac or respiratory failure.

Our students benefit from clinical rotations at the University of Lahore Hospital and Social Security Hospital, gaining hands-on experience in managing complex cardiovascular procedures. Anatomy labs and simulation-based training at the Center for Healthcare Simulation and Innovation (CHSI) provide an immersive learning environment, where students also receive certifications in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support(BLS and ACLS).

In their final year, students engage in internships at various hospitals, enhancing their practical skills and understanding of diverse clinical settings. Additionally, research projects in the final semester develop their analytical and critical thinking abilities, preparing them for innovation and advancements in the field.
