Overview
Sustainable Forestry and Natural Resource Management from Czech University of Life Sciences Prague is focused on the internationalization of education and is intended for both Czech and foreign students.
Quick Facts:
- Students will gain theoretical and practical knowledge about the functioning of forest and non-forest ecosystems, bioeconomics, and sustainable management of natural resources. The program also includes economic, legal, and marketing aspects of the use of nature. Emphasis is also placed on the development of soft skills (communication, teamwork, working with information) and on working with modern technologies such as GIS, remote sensing, AI, and data analysis.
- The teaching reflects current topics, such as climate change, and prepares graduates for practical application and further study.
- Students' study obligations include a one-semester study abroad period, which students must complete in the winter semester of the 2nd year of study at one of the partner universities designated for this study program.
