The Prosthetics and Orthotics (Blended) program at Mahidol University aims to produce graduates with the knowledge and skills to invent, modify, and develop devices for people with disabilities or mobility issues, enabling them to live independently in society.

Prosthetic and orthotic specialists are a new profession in high demand in the country. They require theoretical knowledge and clinical practice to understand the tools, materials, devices, their functions, and the uses of various types of equipment suitable for patients. This includes design, fabrication, and customization for patients. Graduates of this program are eligible to practice prosthetics and orthotics and can work in hospitals and various medical facilities.
