The dynamic nature of this industry and of new technologies assumes the outlining, even in the short term, of new professional roles, and the BA Film and Animation from NABA – New Academy of Fine Arts lays the foundations to keep up with these changes.

Learning objectives

Over the BA, students will have the opportunity to gain skills in:

realising audiovisual productions for cinema and web
creating animation contents using traditional and experimental design
designing interactive and transmedia projects

Programme Structure

Study plan:

Students learn the skills necessary to undertake film projects, documentaries, tv and web series, video contents for web and communication.
Guided by lecturers with great didactic and professional experience, students deal with theoretical, project-based and lab courses of history of cinema and video, multimedia dramaturgy, storytelling and screenwriting, linear audiovisuals, camera operation techniques, sociology of new media, sound design, languages of contemporary art, basics of animation.

the title is an official upper secondary school leaving qualification of the foreign education system of reference;
the qualification allows entry to first-cycle academic courses in the foreign education system of reference;
the qualification has been conferred after an overall path of at least 12 years of schooling;
