Geography with a Year Abroad University of East Anglia

Overview

At UEA, you’ll learn from world-leading researchers and develop specialist analysis skills on this exciting and dynamic course. You’ll take part in field trips to diverse locations such as Devon, the Lake District, Scotland, and Greece. On this course, you’ll also have the chance to broaden your studies by spending a year studying at one of our partner institutions in Europe, US, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand. Here at UEA, you’ll study in our purpose-built laboratories, master geographical information systems (GIS) software, and most importantly, graduate with the skills to make a meaningful impact.  

This MSci Geography with a Year Abroad course from University of East Anglia is highly flexible, offering you a broad choice of topics across physical and human geography. Specialisms include climate science, environmental policy, Earth resources, river catchment management, urban geography, biodiversity conservation, energy systems, and environmental economics. 

Year Abroad

You’ll spend your third year studying abroad at one of our many partner universities in Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada or Europe. You’ll be able to select the institution based on the specialisms it offers and agree an individual programme of study with your academic adviser. Your marks will be transferred back to UEA to contribute to your final degree result. 

You’ll spend your third year living and studying abroad, with the opportunity to choose from an exciting range of partner institutions with different specialisms.
