Overview

Nursing at UniCamillus University gives access to first level continuing education courses activated at UniCamillus or other universities, according to the procedures established in the respective regulations, as well as access to MSc programmes in the LM/ SNT-1 class. Graduates in Nursing may also find employment in public or private healthcare institutions, in the community and in home care, on an employed or self-employed basis.

The programme taught in English aims to provide graduates with the cultural heritage and the conceptual and methodological tools necessary for the practice of the nursing profession, as defined by Ministerial Decree no. 739 of 14 September 1994 and the Code of Ethics of the Nursing Professions, approved in 2019 by the ‘Federazione Nazionale Ordine Professioni Infermieristiche’ (FNOPI).

Special emphasis is placed on practical training and clinical internships, which form an integral and qualifying part of professional education. These activities are carried out under the supervision and guidance of dedicated nurse tutors.

Applicants wishing to take the admission test must meet one of the following criteria:

Possession of a secondary school diploma obtained after at least 12 years of schooling.If the diploma is issued by a foreign institution, it must be accompanied by a Declaration of Value issued by the Italian diplomatic authorities or by a CIMEA certification.
Attendance in the final year of secondary school leading to a qualification valid for admission to the course (i.e., a diploma obtained after at least 12 years of schooling).Within the specified deadlines, a valid qualification must be submitted; failure to do so will result in the loss of the right to enrol or the revocation of enrolment if already admitted. No refunds will be issued.
A final qualification obtained in a school system comprising 10 or 11 years of schooling, supplemented by one or two years of university, provided that all exams have been successfully passed.
