Overview

The Information Technology (Enterprise Computing) at Queensland University of Technology consists of 72 credit points of compulsory units. In particular, you will learn how to: 

• Undertake business analysis and process modelling to understand and communicate how systems can be automated to overcome problems and inefficiencies, using widely used methods and languages in Lean Six Sigma and BPMN (Business Process Modelling Notation) 
• Develop and test software using object-oriented programming concepts and principles. The programming experience will be conducted using enterprise systems platforms and AI tools to enrich and accelerate the traditional software development approach. 

• Perform data analytics and machine learning tasks to convert raw data managed by systems into actionable insights and predictions.

Graduates can pursue roles as software developers, specialising in web, mobile or enterprise applications, or focus on specific layers such as front-end (UI/UX), back-end (server-side logic), or database development.
