The Bachelor of IT in Games Design and Development provides a strong foundation in information technology while developing the creative and technical skills required to design and build engaging digital games and immersive experiences. Students study core areas including programming, cybersecurity, databases, computer systems, data communications, project management, research methods, and professional practice before progressing to specialised topics such as 3D graphics and animation, virtual reality, games software development, games user experience and interface design, digital marketing, and intelligent systems. The course also includes a Discovery Unit to develop transferable skills and offers the flexibility to broaden your studies through an approved double major or elective units.
