The Bachelor of Information Technology in Cyber Security and Forensics provides a strong foundation in information technology while developing the technical and analytical skills needed to protect digital systems and investigate cyber threats. Students study core areas including programming, cybersecurity, databases, computer systems, data communications, project management, research methods, and professional practice before progressing to specialised topics such as server environments, security architecture, information security governance, incident response, ethical hacking, software security, and intelligent systems. The course also includes a Discovery Unit to develop transferable skills and offers the flexibility to broaden your studies through an approved double major or elective units.Course structures are subject to change.
