The Bachelor of IT in Computer Science provides a strong foundation in information technology while developing the technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills needed to design and build innovative software and computing solutions. Students study core areas including programming, cybersecurity, databases, computer systems, data communications, project management, research methods, and professional practice before progressing to specialised topics such as data structures, software architecture, operating systems, intelligent systems, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and mathematical foundations. The course also includes a Discovery Unit to develop transferable skills and offers the flexibility to broaden your studies through an approved double major or elective units.
