Programme Structure

The Bachelor of Information Technology in AI and Autonomous Systems provides a strong foundation in information technology while developing the technical skills needed to design and implement intelligent systems. Students study core areas including programming, cybersecurity, databases, computer systems, data communications, project management, research methods, and professional practice before progressing to specialised topics such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, intelligent agents, systems analysis and design, AI system design, data visualisation, simulation, and mathematical foundations. The course also includes a Discovery Unit to develop transferable skills and offers the flexibility to broaden your studies through an approved double major or elective units.
