He/she is able to navigate the organizational conditions of institutional education and is able to work mainly in the supportive components of institutional education.

The graduate of this Combined Teaching of English Language and Literature programme from University of Presov has very good language, speech and intercultural competence. He/she has a command of English at the C1 CEFR level when mediating everyday communication, both spoken and written, and has acquired general cultural competence, i.e. global knowledge of the issues of intercultural communication behavior. At the same time, he/she has basic theoretical and methodological knowledge of linguistics and literary studies. He/she has a command of the basics of bilingual speech mediation (translation/interpretation). He/she has basic knowledge of translation strategies and techniques of simultaneous and consecutive interpreting.

- The basic condition for admission to university is the completion of full upper secondary or full upper secondary vocational education. An applicant who fails to prove fulfilment of the basic conditions for admission at the time of verification of fulfilment of the conditions for admission may be admitted conditionally, provided that they are obliged to prove fulfilment of the basic conditions for admission no later than the date set for enrolment.
- The right of an applicant who has been admitted conditionally shall be terminated if he or she fails to prove fulfilment of the basic conditions for admission no later than the date fixed for enrolment.
