Overview
The graduate of the Teaching of English Language and Literature (in combination) programme from Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra is conversant with the state’s current educational programmes and understand the theoretical foundations of the design, implementation, and evaluation of education and training.
The graduates are proficient in the theoretical and practical contexts of the content of education and training, as well as the methodology of educational activities; they are also familiarised with the Slovak school system, the legal framework, and the curricular contexts of the profession.
Career opportunities
The graduates may find employment as pedagogical assistants who, in accordance with the needs of the teacher, educator, or vocational training teacher, and in cooperation with professional staff, create equal opportunities in education and training; or as educators who offer education and training to students in schools, out-of-school settings, or leisure establishments.
