Overview
Nursing is an independent field, the focus of which is the person, family and community in health and illness. As a scientific field, it integrates knowledge from other fields dealing with the study of man, society and the environment. The basic principles of the field of study are based on a broad understanding of the importance of the work of professional nurses, who are the largest group of health care professionals and are considered key in ensuring reform strategies in the health sector and in home care.
They have a significant role in connection with the humanization of patient care, which indicates the need for well-prepared professional nurses in the nursing profession, sufficiently flexible, accepting responsibility for their work and competent to work in multi-professional teams in hospitals, outpatient clinics and communities.
