Overview
A student of the Mission and Charity Work programme from St. Elizabeth College of Health and Social Work will acquire systematic knowledge from individual areas of the Social Work study field, will understand interdisciplinary connections in the field of missiology, Christian social teaching, charity and humanitarian work. He/she will acquire a synthesis of knowledge from basic theories, methods and forms of social, charity and humanitarian work, both within direct and mediated contact with target groups of clients.

Graduates of the study program Missionary and Charitable Work in the field of Social Work in the first degree have the opportunity to apply themselves in the labor market as social work assistants, capable of performing activities in the social field related to five key departments falling within the competence of central state administration bodies (Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Family, Ministry of the Interior and Ministry of Justice). Graduates of the bachelor's study program Missionary and Charitable Work will find employment in social service facilities and care for children, adults and elderly citizens, in associations and foundations focused on social, charitable, humanitarian and missionary activities, in the field of field social, charitable and missionary work, but also in the field of administration of social, charitable and humanitarian projects at home and abroad, especially in the developing world.
Programme Structure
- The knowledge and skills acquired through studies can also be applied as a worker in institutions of social planning, organization and management of social services, in non-governmental, charitable and church organizations providing humanitarian and development activities, as well as in public institutions with a focus on the social field.

General requirements
- The main condition for admission to the Bachelor's degree in social work is secondary education completed with a school leaving exam. It is necessary to fill out an application for university studies and submit a certified copy of the school leaving certificate.
- Applicants who graduate in the school year in which they submit an application for studies shall submit a certified copy of the school leaving certificate and a copy (uncertified) of the end-of-year report card from the 4th grade additionally before the enrollment deadline so that the decision on admission to studies can be sent in time. Without submitting a certified copy of the school leaving certificate, the applicant will not be enrolled in studies.
- Copies (uncertified) of the end-of-year reports for the entire study at secondary school and a transcript of grades with the calculated average are attached to the application.
