Overview

The Film and Creative Media course from American University in Bulgaria enables students to understand and explore visual storytelling through a range of film and creative media genres and modes: from fiction to animation to experimental to documentary. Students will engage with the art, craft and theory of film and creative media across a range of interpretations and uses – including personal, promotional and commercial works.

Production classes will teach students the skills to make their own film and media creations, from inception to post-production. Complementing the creative elements the Major will provide students with a rigorous theoretical and analytical training for those who wish to go into graduate studies in the fields of creative writing, filmmaking, documentary or film and media studies.
