Driven by students’ need to compete in a global job market, it is an internationally accredited program providing students with worldwide recognition of their prestigious academic degree. The program is designed to help meet the growing and changing labor market needs of the UAE economy. The BBA in SCML curriculum from United Arab Emirates University equips students with core business skills and knowledge in all business functions including finance, accounting, and economics. Additionally, specialized courses in the program prepare graduates with specialist knowledge and skills in various areas in the supply chain and logistics management field, including supply chain network design, supply chain strategic and operational planning, logistics planning and management. Students obtain a solid foundation in management theories and analytical skills, complemented by practical exposure to real-world business practices.

The program prepares students not only for careers in government and industry but also for graduate studies. The current Bachelor of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management and Logistics program initiative is a natural response to UAE and regional market needs. The program offers students several opportunities to prepare for careers in today's challenging world of business by delivering comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge and skills in various aspects of supply chain and logistics management within organizations. This includes the internship program, wherein all students complete a compulsory work-placement in an organization. • Explain key terminologies, concepts and issues in supply chain and logistics management.
• Apply problem-solving, critical-thinking and algorithmic thinking skills as required in supply chain management, logistics and allied business contexts.
• Appraise the role of supply chain and logistics technologies in efficient and effective supply chain management and logistics management.
• Assess the use and management of data and information technologies to support supply chain management and logistics.
• Evaluate major decisions and trade-offs in purchasing, supplier management, distribution, transportation, services processes and inventory management and recommend appropriate solutions for supply chain managers.
• Develop a working knowledge of appropriate methods, techniques and best practices in supply chain management, logistics and allied business contexts.
• Communicate effectively, orally and in writing, as required in a supply chain management business context
