The Mission of BS Program in Mathematics from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Mineralsis to provide students with strong up-to-date mathematical foundation and professional skills that lead our graduates to succeed in subsequent careers and educational programs and to serve the community and contribute in the development of the Kingdom.

Program Educational Objectives

The Bachelor of Science in Mathematics is designed to develop an understanding of basic theoretical concepts of Mathematics, its applications in problems solving and where possible applying them. The educational objectives of the BS program in Mathematics within a few years of graduation are to:

Provide students with fundamental knowledge in mathematics for use in interdisciplinary research.
Enable students to pursue higher studies in mathematics and related fields.

The applicant must be a high school graduate (General, Computer Science and Engineering, Health and Life) or international school graduate (Natural Sciences) in the current year or the previous year.
A minimum SAT score of 1350 is required to apply. Meeting the minimum score does not ensure admission. Admissions are competitive.
SAT scores must be directly sent to King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals from the SAT Test Center.
