Overview
Students enrolled in The American University of Cairo’s School of Sciences and Engineering may apply to complete the MPA on an accelerated basis, in conjunction with the completion of the Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Students enrolled in AUC’s School of Sciences and Engineering may apply to complete the MPA on an accelerated basis, in conjunction with the completion of the Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Students interested in this option should consult with their advisers during the fall semester of their fourth year for potential admission to the program in their fifth year.
The Construction Engineering and Public Administration program prepares students for careers in the public sphere with the highest ethical standards, strong competencies in environmental analysis and management as well as public governance, excellent leadership and communication skills, a sound understanding of the use of evidence and analysis in public service settings, and a commitment to building a better future for the people of Egypt and the region. Students pursue careers in government, nonprofit organizations, international development agencies, academia, and the private sector.

General requirements
- Submit the online application form. Application is available online only. The application can be renewed from the fall semester to the spring semester of the same academic year only by sending an email to enrolauc@aucegypt.edu. A new application should be submitted for a new academic year. Applications submitted after the set deadlines will be considered according to the availability of places.
- Two recommendation letters are mandatory; applicants should include the email addresses of their recommender in the admission application as instructed, as s/he will automatically receive an email with instructions to submit their recommendation letters directly to AUC. Recommendation letters should be written by high school teachers and/or counselors.
