The Nautical Science programme from Kazakh-British Technical University complies with the International Convention on the Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for seafarers, 1978, as amended (STCW-78).

The objective of this educational programme is: forming common cultural and professional knowledge and skills of the graduate in accordance with the requirements of SMSE for the group of educational programmes 6B066 "Maritime transport and technologies" in the direction of the educational programme 6B071105 "Nautical sciences", which provide the solution of professional problems in the process of carrying out professional activities in the conditions of the technology of the educational process for high-quality training of the graduate in this direction.
