Psychology is the study of the mind and human behaviour. Psychology students will learn about human-emotions, thought processes and relationships.
This three-year psychology Psychological Science degree at Curtin University lays the foundation of knowledge on various aspects of mental health. It provides an understanding of the theoretical framework within which various approaches and techniques have been developed
Career Pathways
- Psychology: Graduates who wish to pursue a career in Psychology will need to study further. In most countries a specialized Master’s programme and supervised internship in a psychological setting are required to obtain registration and license to practice - refer to Graduate Diploma in Psychological Science and Master in Applied Psychology factsheets.
- Business: Graduates who wish to work in Business can undertake further studies in a range of Business fields, including HR, Law and Marketing. At Curtin they can extend their degree to include a fourth year of business specialisation or they can enrol on a Post Graduate Business course.
