Overview

To graduate from the Theatre programme offered by the Kadir Has University, all courses in the undergraduate course plan accepted by the senate, corresponding to 240 ECTS credits, must be passed with a minimum CGPA of 2.00/4.00.

Qualifications

1- He/she has knowledge of theatre culture, history and aesthetics, as well as theatre research and criticism methods.2- He/she has knowledge of the method, voice, body and technique related to theatre production and acting.3- He/she has knowledge of the legal regulations and procedures related to theatre and the ethics of art and science.4- He/she has knowledge about contemporary theatre and performing arts and the interaction of theatre with other disciplines.5- Has the ability to research as practice and research as practice with an approach centered on dramaturgy.6- Applies methods and techniques related to theatre and acting systematically.7- Develops and concretizes imagination, concentration, perception and analysis skills by taking physical action as a basis in game design.8- Works harmoniously, creatively, effectively and productively, alone, independently and/or in groups, to design and work on an original theatre play or performance.9- He/she constantly questions and criticizes his/her production and knowledge in the field of theatre and follows new trends in the world in the field of theatre and performance.10- Through his/her work, he/she has the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences, whether they are experts or not in theatre-related matters, by utilising the visual, auditory, physical, written and verbal expression features of theatre.11- He/she follows the information in his/her field and communicates with his/her colleagues using English.12- Uses information and communication technologies required by theatre (computer programs such as Word, Power Point, Excel).13- Be aware of national and international ethical values and innovations in the field of theatre and be able to reflect them in their production.
