The Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) has been signed between UNITEN and Darul Quran, JAKIM, which was officiated by YB Dato' Dr. Masyitah Haji Ibrahim, the then Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department.

The Pensijilan Tahfiz Al-Quran JAKIM-UNITEN (Information Technology) programme from Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) is conducted under the UNITEN Islamic Centre (UIC). It is assisted by a Unit Coordinator and supported by five lecturers.
