The Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) has been signed between UNITEN and Darul Quran, JAKIM, which was officiated by YB Dato' Dr. Masyitah Haji Ibrahim, the then Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department.

The Pensijilan Tahfiz Al-Quran JAKIM-UNITEN (Engineering) programme from Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) is designed specifically to generate professional graduates in engineering, computer science, information technology, accounting, economics, management and business fields with Al-Quran. As a result, the incorporation of Islamic sciences and these fields is projected to have a fresh impact on the educational transformation process, resulting in the creation of a holistic and integrated human capital.
