Overview

The Mechanical Engineering (Honours) programme from Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) also contains a compulsory Industrial Training attachment after semester 6 for a period of not less than 12 weeks. The idea of this attachment is to enable you to gain first-hand experience in industry as well as an insight to how theories are put into practice in real engineering situations. This short attachment in industry is beneficial as it provides the intellectual challenge to you especially in the final year and when carrying out your final year project.

Foundation students who do not fulfil this English requirement are required to sit for the Test of English Proficiency (TEP) before they could enrol in the English Short Course (ESC).
