Employability of graduates
The study programme Chemistry, Medical Chemistry and Chemical Materials prepares and educates graduates with a wide range of natural science knowledge and a technical perspective on the use of this knowledge in industrial, medical and laboratory practice. The graduate is competent to work in specialized chemical, biochemical and monitoring laboratories, in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and processing industries.
The graduate is competent to apply his/her skills of the basic principles and techniques of work in various types of chemical and physicochemical laboratories. He/she can assess from a chemical point of view the basic properties of various chemical and natural raw materials, can perform their separation into chemical individuals and implement a simple synthesis of the target compound.
Using physicoanalytical methods, he/she can determine the structure of organic and inorganic molecules, as well as the physicochemical properties of low-molecular and macromolecular materials.
