Want to understand what helps people cope, heal and thrive and what gets in the way? This British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited degree gives you the broad foundations of psychology, with a clear clinical lens. You’ll explore how mental health and wellbeing are understood, assessed and supported, while building the research skills to question assumptions and use evidence responsibly.

You’ll learn in a School where you can get hands-on in specialist facilities, from virtual reality to brain stimulation and EEG. You will start engaging with live research early through the School’s research participation and research experience schemes.

This is a four-year course where you spend a year in practice between your second and final years.

You study the core areas required for accreditation. Clinical psychology will feature throughout your degree in modules and work on a reflective diary.
