Overview
Throughout the Bachelor of Digital Design at the Institute of Creative Arts and Technology students will explore various aspects of digital design including design, creative process, typography, digital illustration, photography and video production, design thinking and innovation, motion graphics and animation, interactive web design, design for change, emerging technology and future design.

The program places a strong emphasis on practical learning and industry engagement. Students will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects and collaborate with industry professionals, whilst using the latest design software technologies.
Knowledge of Discipline: A broad and coherent knowledge of the digital design industry, history, current trends, and future directions; learning from best practices to gain insight and understanding of the role of design in shaping society and culture.
Design Proficiency: Technical skills and proficiency in a range of digital skills including, digital design, typography, digital illustration, UX/UI design, motion graphics, multimedia production and gamification, using industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite to implement design concepts effectively
Design Thinking and Innovation: Demonstrated creative thinking to generate innovative ideas, develop unique design concepts and use design thinking methodologies and critical thinking to solve complex problems and create compelling digital designs..
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing industry trends and emerging technologies through the application of new skills, tools and techniques to remain competitive in the digital design industry
