General Engineering specializes on generalist skills for coordinating activities in industry and for the holistic optimization of complex technical systems. Modules are offered that have a generalist nature.

Electrical Engineering contains electrical engineering megatrends such as automation, IoT, energy technology, renewable energies, e-mobility and autonomous driving.

Mechanical Engineering focuses on mechanical engineering topics such as the design of wind turbines, the optimization of engines, battery research or the creation of digital twins of complex technical systems or automated production lines.

Process Engineering is about developing processes in which materials are changed to manufacture products, e.g. biodegradable plastics from renewable raw materials or removing greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide from exhaust gases to protect the climate.

• Bachelor International Engineering (INB) can be studied completely in English.

• No knowledge of German is required at the start of the INB program. As part of their studies, students can acquire German language skills up to B1 level. In addition, students are encouraged to acquire level C1 on a voluntary basis. This is possible free of charge at the university's internal Language Center.

The program is accredited as per national standards, by Acquin and Stiftungsrat Akkreditierung.
