They also learn about practical applications of psychological research in the fields of psychopathology, clinical and health psychology, work and organizational psychology, educational psychology, and cross-cultural psychology.

Theoretical courses are complemented with classes teaching practical skills, indispensable in psychological research, such as methodology, statistics and psychometrics as well as competencies needed in human interactions, such as basic psychological skills, personal skills and the ability to work in groups. Additionally during each academic year, students participate in at least one project-based course, which provides them with an opportunity to apply previously-acquired knowledge in a more practical manner, for example by working on a group research project.
