For their application at the OTH Regensburg, international applicants need:

a university entrance qualification

an adequate knowledge of German

International Baccalaureate English A HL

IELTS certificate with an overall score of at least 5.0 points with a minimum grade of 4.0 in all sections ("IELTS General Training" is not recognised)
TOEFL certificate with at least 460 points in the "Paper-based Test" (TOEFL PBT) or 50 points in the "Internet-based Test" (TOEFL iBT)
Cambridge English qualification with level B1 or higher
TELC certificate, level B1
PTE Pearson Academic Test certificate, level B1 (43-58 points)
Secondary or academic education completed in English (proof by means of a transcript of records or, if the language of instruction is not stated in the certificate, a ‘Medium of Instruction’ certificate)
