On the Computer Science (Bahrain) (Hons) program at University of Strathclyde, you’ll learn foundation skills such as programming and in later years, subjects will include algorithms, databases and logic.
In Year 3, you’ll study more specialised areas such as new programming languages and in your final year, you’ll undertake a practical computing project.

General requirements
- Students should have successfully completed their high school diploma and have achieved an overall score of 80%, with 80% in relevant subjects for their chosen degree programmes.
- We accept a wide variety of international qualifications for admission to Year 1 of our degrees. Year 2 entry may be possible for students with a minimum of ABB at A Level or 32 in the International Baccalaureate, with subject-specific attainment dependent on the qualification obtained and degree programme of choice.
- Students are required to demonstrate proficiency in English for entry to our courses.
