International Business (with a study abroad year) (Hons) University of Sussex

Overview

After you finish Year 2 of the   International Business (with a study abroad year) (Hons) degree at  University of Sussex , you have the opportunity to apply to study abroad at one of the partner universities, before returning to Sussex for your final year.

You’ll learn about the world’s key business regions including the European Union, North America, East and South East Asia and East and Central Europe. You investigate trends in international business and global strategy and examine marketing and human resource management from an international perspective. 

There are a wide range of options including international negotiations management and finance in global business. From modern languages to psychology and law, you take electives from other subjects to open your mind to other disciplines and tailor your degree to your interests. For your final-year project you investigate a specialist area of international business.

At the University of Sussex Business School, you’ll become part of a vibrant, multinational student and staff community. This helps you expand your international network. You’ll engage with dedicated professionals, and will be challenged with new perspectives, ideas and approaches.

Careers

You’ll develop the skills and confidence to help shape global issues in business, management and society. You’ll be prepared to take on a range of general or specialist roles in management and finance, including human resources, marketing, retail management and financial management. Or you can use the skills to set up your own international business.
